Decorster Portal style quiz is a free, fun and interactive way for you to know your style preference and helps you in knowing what design package you can buy. We take you through a series of fun questions based on your design sense and style, which is analyzed by our system algorithm to immediately show you your preferred style and help you select your design package.

What if the end result after taking the style quiz doesn’t match my style?

If you feel that your style quiz result does not match your taste, no worries! , once you have a bought a package of a particular room, you can tell us your specific style preference and design inspiration in the design brief.

How can Decorster Portal design or remodel my kitchen or / and bathroom?

You can avail this option of design and remodel of kitchen and / or bathroom only with our custom package. Just visit our packages page and select design and execution, after that select kitchen / bathroom as your desired room and fill in your required information in our custom form. Our designer will then get in touch with you and start working on the design phase.

How to get started after buying a Decorster Portal design package?

Sign in to your account and complete your design brief questionnaire in order for us to assign an expert designer to your design package. For your convenience we have also attached your project schedule for every room. Our designer will then start working on your project based on your design brief and style quiz result. When does the designer start working on my room?

Once you have completed your design brief, the designer will get in touch with you via chat within the span of 1 – 2 days for the initial design discussion. Based on the requirements given by you, the designer will then start working on your room.

How can I get in touch with my designer?

Before we start working on your project, our designer will get in touch with you via chat on our website for a fixed period of time depending on your package, discussing about your style quiz and your design brief to ensure your vision for the project.

Moving forward all the interaction between you and the designer will take place on our messaging portal which is available in your account.

How does the designer know about my room dimensions?

In your design brief, you will have an option to give us your exact floor dimensions in length and breadth of your room.

Simultaneously, you will also have an option to upload a picture of each wall in your room and give us the dimension of that wall in length and height in your preferred unit of measurement.

How does the designer know about my style preferences for the package I have bought?

Our designer will get everything that he needs to design your space from your style quiz and your design brief, so make sure that you are as elaborate and descriptive as possible about your likes, dislikes and style preferences.

Moreover, before designing your space our designer will have a thorough discussion with you about your vision for the space, assisting him / her in knowing your style preferences.

What kind of inspiration photos should I submit?

We suggest our clients to share as many inspiration photo as they can, giving their opinion and comment for each picture that they upload informing us the things that inspire them the most.

How will I know that team Decorster Portal has reviewed my design brief and the designer has started working on my room?

Once you sign up and create your account, Decorster Portal links your design brief and style quiz with your account which can be seen by the assigned designer. Before starting with the design process the designer will contact you via chat through our messaging portal, hence informing you about the start of your design journey.

Do I have to fill in separate design brief if I have bought packages of more than one room?

Yes, every room package has a different design brief linked with it. Your list of packages bought will be shown in your account and you will have to click and go through every package to fill in / view your design brief for that particular room.

The shopping list consists of a detailed list of all the proposed furniture and home décor accessories that are not available on our shopping platform with contact details of suppliers and vendors.

Just download your shopping list from your account, contact a vendor giving him the product details of your item, give them your shipping details and wait for it to get shipped at your door step.

What is the difference between Photoshop rendering and 3D max rendering?

Photoshop rendering helps you in visualizing your design in 2D, with floor plan indicating furniture placement, floor finishes and design intent furniture.

Whereas, 3D Max creates a real life image of your final design, showing you the overall look and feel of your space in 3 dimension.

How is the custom package different from the other two packages?

The custom package gives you the freedom to select a minimum of 5 from the list of our design services, thus creating a tailor made package just for you.
